From research, I found the mission of Simple Mills is to “advance the health of people and the planet.” To further advance the health of the planet, finding a way to reuse the box and plastic bag of the mix could emphasize their mission to the intended audience. The box can be repurposed to hold the fully baked banana bread and the container of the mix is parchment paper that could be used to bake the mix. To create a fully compostable container, the container closes by folding the top and rolling it down to close. The recipe printed on the back is detachable for people to read while baking and remove for when they take their bread to other places.
